Key Field Service Electrician Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple retail sites.
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults, ensuring minimal disruption to store operations.
* Complete general building maintenance and electrical repairs across the estate.
* Carry out electrical testing, inspections and fault finding.
* Install, repair and replace electrical components and equipment as required.
* Work across sites throughout the estate, predominantly covering Hull, Scarborough and York.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with current electrical regulations.
* Liaise with the Shop Maintenance Manager to prioritise workloads and improve maintenance standards.
Field Service Electrician Requirements:
Essential:
* Fully qualified Electrician with recognised industry qualifications.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
* BS2391 Testing & Inspection qualification (or equivalent).
* Previous experience carrying out electrical maintenance within commercial, retail or industrial environments.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to participate in a 1 in 4 on-call rota and occasional unsociable hours.
Desired:
* Experience carrying out general building maintenance.
* Experience working within a field-based maintenance role.
* Knowledge of commercial catering equipment or ovens (training will be provided if required).
* Ability to work independently across multiple locations with minimal supervision.
Additional Information:
* Standard working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with participation in a 1 in 4 Saturday standby and call-out rota.
* Unsociable hours are typically required approximately twice per month.
* The successful candidate will join an established maintenance team consisting of two electricians, working closely together to maintain the company's retail estate
