💰 Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per year

Are you an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter looking for your next opportunity?

Our client is a well-established HGV dealership with multiple depots across the South East of England. They are looking to recruit skilled technicians to join their busy Portsmouth workshop, offering excellent earning potential, ongoing manufacturer training and genuine career progression.

🔧 The Role

You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs and trailers, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

* Service, maintain and repair HGVs and trailers

* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults

* Carry out MOT preparation and vehicle inspections

* Complete repairs in line with DVSA and manufacturer standards

* Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation

* Work closely with the workshop team to minimise vehicle downtime

* Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment

🔧 About You

* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

* Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter

* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

* Reliable, safety-conscious and a team player

🔧 Desirable

* HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Licence

* MOT Tester qualification
