How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Southwark Council are looking for an Interim Operational Lead - RPEEPs & PCFRAs.

    £400 per day (Could be negotiated).

    2 days at the office SE1 2QH (Flexible).

    About the role:

    We are seeking an experienced Interim Operational Lead to drive the delivery of Person Centred Fire Risk Assessments (PCFRAs) and Residential Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (RPEEPs) in line with the Fire Safety (Residential Evacuation Plans) (England) Regulations 2025.

    The role is peripatetic as it is primarily attending resident's flats and carrying out Person Centred Fire Risk Assessments, however, can we put 2 days at the office per week (flexible).

    You will lead the end-to-end RPEEPs process, ensuring residents at risk are identified, assessed and supported with proportionate, effective mitigation measures.

    Key responsibilities:

    Deliver and oversee PCFRAs and RPEEPs across residential settings
    Manage the full lifecycle: assessment, technical review, implementation and review of mitigation measures
    Ensure compliance with legislation and maintain audit-ready processes
    Carry out a robust quality assurance function, including post-installation checks of life safety measures
    Work collaboratively with Building Safety Managers, Fire Risk Assessors, Housing teams and the London Fire Brigade
    Provide expert technical guidance and resolve complex casesAbout You

    Proven experience delivering Person Centred Fire Risk Assessments
    Strong technical understanding of fire safety in residential buildings
    Ability to lead operational delivery and manage risk effectively
    Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
    Holds a recognised fire safety technical qualification
