How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Joining a growing manufacturing team, the Production Operative – MCU Assembly will support the assembly of high-performance electronic products used across advanced engineering sectors. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, consistency and a strong focus on quality while working with sensitive components in a controlled production environment.
      
    The Production Operative – MCU Assembly will be responsible for:
    Assembling mechanical and electrical components in line with work instructions, engineering specifications and production requirements
    Operating assembly equipment and hand tools, including torque-controlled tools and presses
    Carrying out in-process quality inspections, visual checks and testing activities
    Completing production records, quality documentation and traceability requirements accurately
    Identifying and managing non-conforming materials in accordance with established procedures
    Supporting continuous improvement activities and maintaining high standards of workplace organisation through 5S principles
      
    The Production Operative – MCU Assembly will have:
    Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment
    Ability to follow electronic or on-screen work instructions accurately and consistently
    Experience using production hand tools and assembly equipment
    Awareness of ESD controls and the requirements of working with sensitive components
    Good component recognition and understanding of handling requirements for precision parts
    Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused approach to work
