Hgv 2 Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (C) day Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an HGV Class 2 (C) Truck to deliver General Haulage efficiently and safely across designated routes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in driving HGV Class 2 (C) Flatbed vehicle. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to safety.

Duties

* Safely operate an HGV Class 2 (C) Flatbed truck in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies

* Held your HGV 2 (C) License for 12 months or more

* Multi drops and straight trunk of general Haulage to various sites, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs

* No handball involved

* Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.

* Follow all health and safety protocols, including adherence to driving hours regulations.

Qualifications

* Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C ) driving license with a clean driving record - 12 months or more

* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members

* Knowledge of health and safety standards

* Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability

* No more than 6 points

* No DD, DR & IN10 Endorsements showing

Mon to Fri with starts varies

PAYE Pay rates:

£16ph Days basic / overtime £24ph - Holidays accrued - £17.93ph basic / overtime £26ph – Holidays included
