Simply Education is recruiting caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Newark and the surrounding areas from September. The Role
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a pupil throughout the school day.
Adapt learning activities to meet the individual needs of the child.
Build a positive, trusting relationship that encourages confidence and independence.
Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs and parents to ensure consistent support.
Encourage positive behaviour and celebrate progress, no matter how big or small.
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
Has experience working with children in a school, nursery or similar setting.
Has a calm, patient and nurturing approach.
Can build positive relationships and communicate effectively with pupils and staff.
Is confident supporting children with additional learning needs.
Holds a Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
Is reliable, adaptable and passionate about helping children succeed.
