Do you love being outdoors, have a passion for plants and wildlife, and enjoy creating beautiful spaces that support nature? We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Biodiversity Gardener to help care for and develop vibrant wildflower and biodiversity areas across sites in Edinburgh and Fife.

About the Role
Working primarily across sites in Edinburgh, with one site located in Fife, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing biodiversity-focused planting schemes, wildflower areas, and landscaped environments.
No two days are the same - one day you might be identifying wildflowers and planting seasonal additions, while the next could involve liaising with clients, maintaining grassed areas, or helping to keep sites looking their very best.
Key Responsibilities
Identifying and caring for wildflowers and biodiversity planting schemes
Planting, watering, and maintaining flower beds
Weeding and general horticultural maintenance
Grass cutting and basic grounds maintenance
Litter picking and ensuring sites remain clean and welcoming
Monitoring plant health and seasonal requirements
Liaising professionally with clients and site representatives
Reporting any issues and suggesting improvements to planting areas
What We're Looking For
A genuine passion for gardening, plants, and biodiversity
Knowledge of flower and plant identification
Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Full UK driving licence
Experience in landscape design or landscaping would be highly desirable
