How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders.

    * Leading, developing and inspiring a multi-disciplinary leadership team.

    * Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and operational excellence.

    * Supporting investment, innovation and future growth initiatives.

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially astute senior leader with a proven track record of delivering growth and operational improvement within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment.

    The successful candidate will demonstrate:

    * Previous Managing Director, General Manager, Divisional Director or Business Unit leadership experience.

    * Full P&L accountability within a manufacturing or engineering business.

    * Strong commercial and sales leadership capability.

    * Experience leading manufacturing, operations and supply chain functions.

    * Excellent financial acumen and strategic planning skills.

    * A track record of driving growth, improving performance and delivering sustainable profitability.

    * Outstanding leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.

    * A hands-on, pragmatic approach combined with strategic vision.

Experience within specialist manufacturing, engineered products, industrial equipment, automotive, capital equipment or related sectors would be highly advantageous.

    Why This Role?

This is a rare opportunity to lead a successful and respected business with significant potential for future growth.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

    * Shape the future direction of the organisation.
