How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Reginald Gray is delighted to be partnering with a long-standing client to recruit a Project Manager to join their growing team.

    Our client is an established main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial fit out and refurbishment projects. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major scheme.

    The initial project is a two-floor commercial fit out of office and laboratory space, with a project value in excess of £10 million.

    This is a true Project Manager position, where you will take full ownership of the project from a strategic and operational perspective. Reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for leading the site team, with a Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager reporting directly to you.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project.

    * Develop and manage the overall project strategy and programme.

    * Lead and manage the site team, providing direction and support throughout the project.

    * Oversee subcontractor performance, programme, quality and health & safety.

    * Manage project costs, risk and client expectations.

    * Chair progress meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.

    * Ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

    Requirements

    * Proven experience delivering commercial fit out and refurbishment projects valued at £10 million+.

    * Previous experience in a Project Manager role with full project responsibility.

    * Strong leadership and communication skills.

    * Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive programme performance.

    * Commercially aware with excellent planning and organisational skills.

    * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
