How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    This role leads a small manufacturing operation, overseeing production, planning, product development, quality, food safety, logistics, and continuous improvement to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

The company prioritises operational excellence, product innovation, food safety, and continuous improvement to deliver sustainable growth and exceptional customer service.

    Description

    · Lead the Manufacturing Division and develop a high-performing team.

    · Manage production planning, capacity and operational performance.

    · Drive product development, innovation and recipe standardisation.

    · Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, allergens, labelling and regulatory requirements.

    · Prepare the business for EHO, customer and BRCGS audits.

    · Manage suppliers, inventory and production planning.

    · Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse and Logistics to deliver excellent customer service.

    · Drive cost reduction, labour productivity and waste improvement.

    · Develop KPIs, budgets and management reporting.

    · Promote Health & Safety and continuous improvement.

    Profile

    A successful Production Manager should have:

    Proven expertise in product management within manufacturing within the FMCG industry.
    Strong leadership and team management skills.
    Solid understanding of production processes and operational efficiency.
    Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
    Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
    Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance regulations.
