Location: North Fleet (DA11)
Salary: £43,823.39 (for 10 hours per day) + overtime opportunities
Hours: 47.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday (overtime payable)
Our client, a reputable company within the manufacturing and logistics sector, is hiring for a specialist Flexi Class 1 Driver to support their busy fleet. This role involves acting as cover for colleagues during planned or unplanned absences, ensuring the smooth operation of their modern delivery fleet across the UK.
What you'll be doing:
* Safely operating bulk powder tanker and silo placement vehicles, with full training provided to the highest standards
* Supporting the fleet during holiday or absence periods to keep deliveries on schedule
* Occasionally assisting with other operational tasks within the manufacturing facility, including:
* Operating mobile plant such as MEWPS, loading shovels, and FLTs
* Preparing and repairing silo equipment for dispatch
* Supporting control room operations
* Marshalling raw material delivery vehicles
* Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in line with 6S principles
What you'll bring:
* A C+E Vocational Driving Licence is essential
* Previous experience operating powder tankers is highly desirable
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
* Ability to work flexibly within a team environment
