Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 DOE
THE OPPORTUNITY
CPXR is recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to join an established painting and decorating contractor delivering projects across the commercial, education and healthcare sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in painting and decorating contracts who is looking to take responsibility for projects from initial enquiry and estimating through to completion.
The role will involve surveying projects, preparing estimates and tenders, securing new contracts and managing multiple painting and decorating projects through to successful delivery.
THE ROLE
* Survey projects and assess painting and decorating requirements
* Prepare estimates covering labour, materials, resources and project timescales
* Produce competitive tenders and secure new contracts
* Manage multiple projects from initial enquiry through to completion
* Manage site-based operatives, productivity and project performance
* Ensure projects meet required quality, health and safety standards
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
* Experience as a Contracts Manager, Estimator or Surveyor within painting and decorating
* Previous experience pricing and tendering for painting contracts
* Experience successfully securing work through competitive tendering
* Ability to commercially manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong communication, commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving licence
Candidates should have experience managing painting and decorating contracts from initial pricing and tendering through to successful project completion.
SALARY & BENEFITS
