How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

A respected construction consultancy in London is looking for a Project Manager to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with healthcare and education experience to work on meaningful projects that have a lasting impact on local communities while developing their career within a supportive consultancy.

The Project Manager will deliver a diverse portfolio of education and healthcare schemes, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders from inception through to completion. This Project Manager role would suit a confident Project Manager who enjoys working in complex, stakeholder-led environments and has experience managing projects independently. The successful Project Manager will join a collaborative team with a strong pipeline of education and healthcare projects across London and the South East.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

    The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering healthcare and education projects through all stages of the project lifecycle, from feasibility and design through to construction, handover, and final completion.

The Project Manager will manage project programmes, coordinate multidisciplinary consultants, oversee procurement, administer contracts, monitor project risks, prepare client reports, chair project meetings, and liaise with contractors to ensure successful project delivery.

The Project Manager will also work closely with clients and stakeholders within live operational environments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.

    The Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will have:

Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
Strong experience delivering healthcare and/or education projects
Experience managing projects from inception through to completion
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a similar construction-related discipline
MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or working towards a relevant professional qualification
Good knowledge of JCT contracts and construction project delivery
Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working within live operational environments would be advantageous
A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach

    In Return?

    £45,000 - £55,000
    Annual bonus
    Pension contribution
    Private healthcare
    Professional membership fees paid
APC and ongoing professional development support
Varied healthcare and education project portfolio
    Clear career progression opportunities
    Supportive and collaborative consultancy environment
