Pay: £13.00 per hour + £2.00 per hour overtime premium

Major Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for a Temporary Manufacturing Operative to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a practical, hands-on approach who enjoys working in a busy manufacturing environment. You'll be involved in a variety of tasks, making every day different while supporting the production of high-quality electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Operating copper cutting and punching equipment.
Mechanical assembly of LV switchgear.
Measuring, cutting and preparing materials accurately.
Using hand tools and circular saws safely and effectively.
Supporting the wider production team with additional manufacturing duties as required.
Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
What We're Looking For
An interest in mechanical assembly and manufacturing.
Confident using a circular saw.
Ability to measure and cut materials with precision.
Experience using hand tools and assembly techniques.
A strong awareness of workplace health and safety.
Reliable, hardworking and willing to work overtime during the week and most Saturday mornings when required.
What's on Offer
£13.00 per hour.
Additional £2.00 per hour for overtime.
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm.
Friday: 7:00am - 1:30pm.
Overtime available.
