We're recruiting on behalf of a highly respected membership organisation that represents and supports some of the UK's most successful businesses. Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join their friendly, collaborative team.

This is a varied, people-focused role where you'll help grow membership by building relationships with prospective members and guiding them through the joining process.

You'll be responsible for:

Contacting and engaging with prospective members via phone, email and networking opportunities.
Understanding each organisation's needs and demonstrating the value of becoming a member.
Managing the full membership journey from initial enquiry through to joining.
Building strong, long-term relationships with business leaders and decision makers.
Maintaining accurate records using the CRM system.
Working closely with the marketing and events teams to maximise opportunities and deliver an outstanding member experience.
Supporting projects that improve processes and enhance member engagement. We're far more interested in your attitude and transferable skills than whether you've done this exact role before.

You could be successful if you have experience in:

Sales Support
Internal Sales
Account Management
Customer Success
Client Services
Recruitment
Membership or Relationship Management You'll also have:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence speaking with senior stakeholders and decision makers.
A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail.
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
Experience using CRM systems would be beneficial, although not essential. What's in it for You?

Salary cira £35,000k per annum

Hybrid working -1-2 days in the office per week.
