Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an expanding organisation based in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Decant Packer on a full-time temporary to permanent basis

Job Role:

* Be able to handle (pack, stack, palletise etc) safely containers weighing a minimum of 8kg and up to 25kg

* Labelling containers and pallets as required by the product specification

* Always ensuring the correct PPE is used including gloves, masks, safety shoes, eye protection etc

* Be able to use lifting and handling equipment including drum changers and pallet trucks (hand and powered)

* Maintaining an excellent standard of housekeeping during production and at the end of shift

* Setting up and running a variety of decanting stations in SDA and SDA Flam

* Understanding and implementing production documentation including production works orders, bills of materials, pack codes, single point lessons, labelling requirements

* Ensuring that production works orders are completed according to the standard time and production plan

Skills and experience:

* Knowledge in SAP

* Experience with fast paced environment

* Flexibility to move to different (similar) jobs/areas when required

* Proactive & using own initative

* Legal right to work in the UK

* Basic literacy & numeracy skills

* Good attention to detail

* Reliability & punctuality

* Teamwork skills and ability to work on a machine alone

* Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
