The Role
The successful candidate will support the delivery of a major portfolio of industrial and logistics projects for a long-standing blue-chip client relationship. Projects range from £2m to £10m+ and include new build developments, refurbishments, retrofits and fit-out schemes across the UK.
This position offers exposure to projects at various stages of the lifecycle, providing a varied workload, hands-on responsibility and excellent long-term development opportunities while working alongside experienced senior surveyors.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with cost planning and cost management throughout the project lifecycle
Supporting procurement and tender management activities
Assisting with contract administration and commercial reporting
Preparing valuations, variations and final accounts
Working closely with clients, consultants and project teams
Supporting senior surveyors in the successful delivery of multiple projects
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across a range of sectors
Requirements
Previous experience within a consultancy environment preferred
Experience within industrial, logistics, commercial or fit-out projects advantageous
Strong commercial awareness and a willingness to develop professionally
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or working towards)
MRICS pathway desirable but not essential
Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
A proactive attitude with the ambition to progress within a high-performing consultancy
