How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Role

We are recruiting a Microsoft Power Platform Engineer on behalf of our client, a dynamic and growing digital agency based in Darrington, West Yorkshire. This is a key technical delivery role in a collaborative team environment, focused on building and improving Microsoft-based solutions for a varied client base.

You will work primarily with Power Platform and Dynamics 365, taking ownership of defined solution components and delivering end-to-end features across real-world, business-critical systems. The role is office-based with 1-2 days remote working per week.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Develop, maintain, and improve solutions using Power Apps (Canvas Apps), Power Automate, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365.

    * Take full ownership of defined solution components, delivering features and improvements end-to-end.

    * Diagnose and resolve technical issues across flows, applications, and integrations, including complex or inconsistent behaviours.

    * Work with external systems and APIs, handling data transformations between XML and JSON formats.

    * Support integration work between third-party platforms and Dynamics 365, ensuring data consistency and reliability.

    * Collaborate with the wider team to deliver well-structured solutions across client projects.

    * Maintain and improve existing systems, including refactoring and optimisation where required.

    * Contribute to solution design discussions, offering input on implementation approaches.

    * Support occasional Azure-related work, with opportunity to grow your cloud skills over time.

    * Maintain clear and structured technical documentation.

    Requirements

    * 2+ years of proven professional experience with Microsoft Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365.

    * Strong hands-on proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas Apps), Power Automate, and Dataverse.

    * Solid experience troubleshooting and debugging technical issues independently.

    * Good understanding of APIs and data handling, including JSON and/or XML.

    * Ability to work across integrated systems and understand complex data flows.

    * Strong problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail.

    * Clear communication skills - able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    * Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload effectively.

    * Willingness to learn and grow into Azure and broader cloud technologies.

    Key Tools & Skills

Power Apps · Power Automate · Dataverse · Dynamics 365 · Entra ID · Custom Connectors / APIs · JSON / XML · Azure (desirable)

    What's on Offer

    * Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.

    * Hybrid working: office-based in Darrington with 1-2 days per week remote.

    * Clear progression pathway into Azure and broader Microsoft platform expertise.

    * Exposure to varied, complex client projects involving real-world integrations.

    * Supportive, collaborative team where your contributions are genuinely valued.
