Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Our well-established client based in Bewdley is looking to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their friendly finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous accounts experience who is looking to develop their career within a successful and growing business.
Key Responsibilities
* Raising and processing customer invoices accurately and efficiently
* Managing the accounts receivable ledger and chasing outstanding payments where required
* Producing and issuing monthly customer statements
* Carrying out daily and monthly bank reconciliations
* Preparing and processing supplier payment runs
* Assisting with cash allocation and resolving account queries
* Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring data integrity
* Supporting the wider finance team with month-end processes and other ad hoc finance duties
About You
* Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
* Experience of accounts receivable and sales ledger processes
* Sage experience is preferred, although training can be provided for the right candidate
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
* A positive, team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a busy environment
