The Role

As Head Chef, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the kitchen, ensuring residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals tailored to their individual dietary needs. You'll lead, inspire, and develop your team while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and catering team.
Plan and prepare fresh, nutritious, and diet-specific meals for residents.
Create varied, seasonal menus that cater to individual dietary and nutritional requirements.
Manage stock ordering, inventory, and food costs effectively.
Ensure full compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety, and all relevant regulations.
Recruit, train, supervise, and develop kitchen team members.
Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, food presentation, and kitchen organisation.
Work within agreed budgets while delivering a high-quality dining experience. What's on Offer

Has previous experience as a Head Chef or an experienced Sous Chef ready to step into a leadership role.
Has strong leadership and people management skills.
Is passionate about producing fresh, high-quality food.
Has experience catering for a variety of dietary and nutritional requirements.
Has excellent organisational and stock management skills.
Holds a Food Hygiene qualification and has a sound understanding of food safety legislation.
