How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Reception SEN Teaching Assistant
    Location: Tulse Hill, Lambeth, SW2
    Pay: £109 per day
    Start Date: September 2026
    Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term
    Reception SEN Teaching Assistant – Lambeth, SW2 We are currently seeking a dedicated and nurturing Reception SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tulse Hill, Lambeth (SW2) from September.
    This is a rewarding long-term opportunity to work on the school's mainstream site, providing 1:1 support to a Reception-aged child with special educational needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the child's learning, development, social skills and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day.
    The Role As a Reception SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

    Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Reception pupil with SEN.
    Support the child's academic, social and emotional development.
    Implement strategies and interventions recommended by the SENCO and external professionals.
    Encourage positive engagement in classroom activities and routines.
    Promote independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
    Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider staff team.
    Build a trusting and supportive relationship with the pupil and their family.The Ideal Candidate The school is looking for someone who:

    Has previous experience working with children with SEN, either in a school, nursery or similar setting.
    Has a patient, caring and nurturing approach.
    Is confident supporting children with communication, learning or developmental needs.
    Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
    Is reliable, proactive and committed to helping children succeed.
