How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Company Description Moley Robotics is the creator of the world’s first robotic kitchen, combining advanced engineering with culinary innovation. Rooted in British excellence, the company focuses on making high-quality, chef-level cooking accessible through cutting-edge automation. Moley Robotics collaborates with culinary professionals to design, test, and refine recipes and techniques for its robotic systems. Team members contribute to shaping the future of home and professional cooking. The environment is inventive, fast-paced, and driven by a passion for technology and gastronomy.

Role Description This is an on-site Master Chef contract role based in London. The Master Chef will develop, test, and refine recipes specifically tailored for preparation by the robotic kitchen system. Day-to-day tasks include designing menus, standardizing cooking processes, documenting precise techniques and timings, and ensuring dishes meet consistent quality and safety standards. The role involves working closely with engineers, food technologists, and product teams to translate culinary expertise into programmable, repeatable steps. The Master Chef will also participate in product demonstrations, provide feedback on system performance, and help train internal teams on culinary best practices. We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong track record of successfully opening and launching new restaurants, kiosks, or similar food concepts.

    Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong track record of successfully opening and launching new restaurants, kiosks, or similar food concepts.

    • Extensive professional chef experience in high-quality restaurant, hotel, or culinary environments, including menu development and kitchen leadership.
    • Strong skills in recipe creation, standardization, and documentation, with the ability to express techniques in clear, step-by-step formats.
    • Proven track record in maintaining high food quality, safety, and hygiene standards, including familiarity with relevant food safety regulations.
    • Comfort working with technology and innovative kitchen equipment, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced setting.
    • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training strongly preferred.
    • Experience in research and development, test kitchens, or food innovation environments is a plus.
    • Flexibility to work on-site in London and adapt to evolving project priorities and timelines.
