How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Who we are?

Zelus is Nike Inc.’s exclusive strategic partner and dedicated product engine focused on creating innovative apparel, accessories and equipment product and services for federations, clubs, teams, athletes and events globally.

As Nike’s licensee, we design, develop and create Nike dual branded products for both grassroots clubs and elite professional teams. Whether it’s team inspired fanwear or innovative on-field kits unveiled under floodlights, our mission is to inspire, connect, and serve every team athlete in the world.

This role is based in our Altrincham office, with a hybrid working pattern of three days in the office (Monday to Wednesday) and two days working remotely (Thursday and Friday).

    The Role

Supporting around 70 UK based employees, the Workplace Specialist role is a key on-site ambassador responsible for the smooth, efficient and safe running of our UK facilities and the overall workplace experience. In this role, you will oversee everything from health and safety and building systems to catering, vendor management, service offerings and the first impression for everyone who enters our office.

This role balances workplace operations (approximately 70%) with employee engagement, communications and cultural initiatives (approximately 30%).

You will lead internal communications across our UK office, planning and delivering a year-round communications calendar that keeps employees informed, engaged and connected, while ensuring all messaging is consistent with the Zelus tone of voice.

You will play an integral role in building an inclusive and thriving culture by organising events and supporting initiatives to bring teams together.

Reporting to the Senior People and Culture Manager, you will work with several key stakeholders including other members of the Legal, People and Office Team and other employees throughout the business.

    What You’ll Do

    • Manage the day-to-day operation of the UK office; perform regular walkthroughs to ensure the space is functional, safe, comfortable and well maintained
    • Act as the primary point of contact for employees, guests, clients and candidates on workplace-related matters, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment
    • Lead and execute UK internal communications, including office updates, culture initiatives, wellbeing campaigns, events, employee announcements and business communications, ensuring consistency with the Zelus employer brand and tone of voice
    • Lead relationships with onsite service providers and vendors, including cleaning, food and beverage, technical and systems maintenance, building management, packages and mail
    • Plan and coordinate workplace events and activities that support engagement, collaboration and team culture
    • Lead facilities projects and initiatives; embed and uphold company and team-wide standards and processes at your site
    • Manage seating plans and overall space planning in line with business needs
    • Ensure emergency preparedness plans are current, communicated and actively maintained
    • Ensure that our teams and our space comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and building codes
    • Set, manage and report on budget allocations for your site(s), ensuring cost-effective operations
    • Contribute to and support cross-functional projects as required

    What You’ll Bring

    • 3+ years' experience in workplace, facilities, office management or employee experience roles
    • Ability to manage company communications across various departments and functions
    • Experience managing external vendors and workplace service providers
    • Experience coordinating workplace events and employee engagement activities
    • Knowledge of UK workplace health and safety legislation and best practice
    • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Strong stakeholder management skills

    Why join Zelus?

At Zelus, you’ll have the opportunity to lead with impact, work closely with a globally recognised sports brand partner, and help shape how teamwear product comes to life for athletes worldwide. We offer a collaborative, inclusive culture, strong benefits, and real opportunities for professional growth.

Zelus is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We welcome and celebrate diversity in all its forms.

If you require any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know and we will be happy to support you.

Please note: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
