How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    About the role

    We have a new opportunity for an Information Governance Coordinator to support the delivery of information governance, records management and information security activities across the organisation.

    As the Information Governance Coordinator, you will be responsible for handling confidential information with discretion, ensuring accuracy and maintaining exceptional attention to detail. You will be a confident communicator, capable of building strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders while delivering a high level of customer service.

    You will possess strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively using your own initiative. Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, coupled with experience of maintaining accurate records and following established procedures, will help you succeed in this role.

    You will be able to demonstrate these essential skills:

    Good understanding of working with confidential information.
    Excellent attention to detail with ability to prioritise and ensure targets are met.
    Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record information.
    Good oral and written communication skills with key stakeholders at all levels.
    Experience of working in a customer focused environment and the ability to manage customer expectations.
    Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
    Experience of undertaking a range of co-ordination and administration activities and be able to work to conflicting deadlines and priorities.
    Ability to work effectively and pro-actively without high levels of supervision.

    Desirable:

    Knowledge and understanding of data protection.
    Records management experience.
    Knowledge of logging and managing requests for information and information security incidents.
