Our client is a well-established international organisation operating within the B2B sector, providing specialist logistics, technology and operational solutions to customers across global markets.
About the Role
We are recruiting a French Speaking Logistics Coordinator to manage domestic and international logistics operations. You will coordinate shipments from booking through to final delivery, ensuring excellent customer service while working with French and English-speaking clients, freight partners and internal teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in logistics, supply chain, shipping, freight forwarding, import/export or transport coordination who enjoys working in a fast-paced international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate UK and international shipments from booking through to successful delivery.
- Liaise with freight carriers, warehouses, suppliers and customers to ensure efficient logistics operations.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delivery delays, transport issues and exceptions.
- Prepare shipping documentation, customs paperwork and export/import documentation.
- Maintain accurate shipment, inventory and logistics records using internal systems.
- Monitor logistics performance, delivery KPIs and transport costs to identify process improvements.
- Build and maintain relationships with logistics providers and freight partners.
- Investigate and resolve customer enquiries, shipment discrepancies and logistics claims.
- Collaborate with customer service, warehouse and commercial teams to meet operational priorities.
- Communicate professionally in both French and English with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, shipping, freight forwarding, transport or export coordination.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with warehouse operations and inventory management.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret logistics data and produce reports.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Desirable
- Knowledge of customs procedures, import/export regulations and international shipping documentation.
- Experience working with freight carriers or third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
