How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We're a thriving team passionate about working together to deliver excellence, all in a natural forest environment

At Center Parcs, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a passionate and proactive People Advisor to join our Forest House team and help create an outstanding colleague experience from day one.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves building relationships, influencing positive change, and making a real impact across the employee journey.

    About the Role

Please note this is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave from September 2026 until Friday 22nd October 2027.

As a People Advisor, you'll be a trusted partner to our managers and teams, providing day-to-day HR guidance and helping to bring our culture and values to life. You'll play a key role in supporting employee engagement, wellbeing, and performance – ensuring our colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to be their best.

Working closely with the Forest House HR Manager and the wider People team, you'll help deliver a consistent, high-quality people experience across the business.

Be the first point of contact for the Contact Centre and Forest House managers, providing practical, people-focused advice on recruitment, absence, performance and employee relations.

Build strong relationships with managers, gaining real insight into team dynamics, challenges and talent needs.

Support end-to-end recruitment, guiding managers through Dayforce, ensuring a smooth, fair and inclusive process and great candidate experience.

Deliver engaging and welcoming new starter inductions, creating a brilliant first impression and bringing our culture to life.

Analyse People data and metrics to identify trends, offering practical recommendations that support workforce planning and retention.

Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and support wellbeing initiatives, working closely with Occupational Health where needed.

Support larger organisational change initiatives and wider People projects, identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.

Take ownership of payroll processes, ensuring all changes are accurate, approved and processed on time. Work closely with the HR Manager, Chief People Officer and People Services team to ensure a smooth, compliant process.

Maintain and update payroll logs, supporting effective budget tracking and forecasting.

    What's in it for you

Free day passes and access to leisure facilities (including the spa)

Discounts on breaks and in our shops and restaurants

    Bonus scheme and recognition rewards

    A supportive, friendly team

Please note, this role will be hybrid with 2 or 3 days in the office and 2 or 3 days home-working, dependent upon business requirements.
