How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Are you highly organised, calm under pressure and looking for a role where your work genuinely matters?

Paragon Home Healthcare is looking for a Care Coordinator to join our Richmond-based team on a 14-month maternity cover contract.

We are a specialist, nurse-led home care provider supporting clients with spinal cord injuries, neurological conditions and acquired brain injury. As partners of the Spinal Injuries Association and members of BABICM, we provide high-quality, person-centred care that helps people live safely and independently at home.

This is a full-time role based in Richmond, London, with a starting salary of £28,000 per annum, or commensurate with experience.

As Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in making sure care runs smoothly day to day. You will be involved in rota planning, communication with carers and clients, problem-solving, supporting staff and working closely with our care management team.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Support and mentor carers in their day-to-day work
    • Work closely with Care Managers to ensure care is aligned with each client’s needs
    • Liaise with recruitment and HR around onboarding and staffing requirements
    • Take part in our shared out-of-hours rota
    • Respond quickly and calmly when plans change or issues arise

    Who this role would suit

This role may suit someone who has worked as a Care Coordinator before, or someone with strong transferable experience from areas such as care, hospitality, logistics, administration, HR, education, customer service or operations.

You will need to be organised, proactive and confident communicating with different people throughout the day.

Previous care coordination experience is desirable, but we are also open to people with the right attitude, communication skills and ability to manage a busy workload.

    You’ll need

    • Excellent organisational skills
    • Strong communication skills
    • A calm, practical and problem-solving approach
    • Good attention to detail
    • The ability to work as part of a close-knit team
    • Resilience and adaptability when priorities change
    • A compassionate and client-focused approach
    • High standards of integrity and professionalism

    Benefits

    • Cycle to work scheme
    • Private Medical Insurance
    • Pension scheme
    • Discretionary study contribution of up to £4,000
    • Supportive team environment
    • Meaningful work with real impact
