How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Corporate Practice Innovation & Knowledge Lawyer

    London | Hybrid


    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Practice Innovation & Knowledge Lawyer to join the London office of a leading international law firm.


    This is a strategic role supporting a high-performing Corporate practice, with responsibility for developing the team's knowledge resources, training programmes and legal innovation initiatives.


    Working closely with partners, fee earners and business services teams, you will help shape how the practice leverages AI, automation and legal technology to enhance client service, improve efficiency and support lawyers across a broad range of corporate transactions.


    The successful candidate will combine strong corporate transactional experience with a genuine interest in knowledge management, legal technology and the future of legal service delivery.

    The Role

    You will play a central role in the development of the Corporate team's knowledge strategy by:

    • Developing, maintaining and enhancing market-leading precedents, templates and know-how materials.
    • Monitoring legal, regulatory and market developments, ensuring the team remains up to date.
    • Working with lawyers and innovation specialists to identify opportunities for automation and the practical application of AI within transactional work.
    • Supporting the creation of knowledge products, workflows and technology-enabled solutions that improve consistency and efficiency.
    • Designing and delivering technical training programmes and know-how sessions for lawyers across the practice.
    • Producing client-facing thought leadership, legal updates and briefing materials.
    • Supporting business development initiatives through the preparation of technical materials and knowledge resources.
    • Analysing market trends, client activity and practice data to help inform strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborating with partners and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve legal processes and service delivery.


    About You

    You will be a qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales with experience gained at a leading commercial law firm. You will have a strong background in corporate transactions and an interest in combining legal expertise with innovation and knowledge management.


    You'll also bring:

    • Experience drafting and negotiating corporate transaction documents, including M&A, shareholders' agreements and joint venture documentation.
    • A strong interest in AI, legal technology, knowledge management and legal operations.
    • Excellent drafting, research and communication skills.
    • The ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and translate legal requirements into practical solutions.
    • Experience developing or delivering legal training or know-how materials (desirable).
    • A proactive, collaborative approach and a passion for improving the way legal services are delivered.


    Previous experience in a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL), Knowledge Lawyer or Practice Innovation role would be advantageous but is not essential.
