How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Role


    This is a great opportunity for a Class Action & Commercial Litigation Associate 4-6 PQE to join this Top 120 Law Firm in London.


    The team specialises in bringing cases against entities whose actions have caused damage to small or large groups of people.


    Their experience in this field has included acting for groups of shareholders, private individuals and those belonging to professional bodies and trade associations.


    They advise clients on the stages involved in pursuing a group or class action and the various options for funding such a case. In appropriate cases they are also able to assist with media relations, helping to generate publicity to achieve maximum exposure for the cases they handle.


    Their work in this field includes acting in a number of very high-profile actions in recent years, including claims against a large household name bank, against energy supply brokers for secret commissions, and a class action against TikTok - to name but a few!


    The Ideal Candidate:


    • You will have 4-6 years PQE with practical experience in Litigation
    • Experience in at least one of these: heavy commercial litigation, class actions, and/or competition experience would be advantageous. Experience in one of these areas would required to be considered.
    • You will have good organisational skills.
    • You will have enthusiasm for intellectually challenging work and a desire to progress within a leading law firm.
