Assembly and Test Engineer job – Key Responsibilities
* Carry out production testing of specialist electronic radio equipment.
* Complete fault diagnosis and repair to bare board level using specialist RF test equipment.
* Perform system configuration, final unit testing and validation of test procedures.
* Support mechanical assembly, wiring assemblies, cable manufacture and kitting activities.
* Manage workload effectively to meet agreed specifications and timescales.
* Attend training to develop technical knowledge and support career progression.
Assembly and Test Engineer job – Skills & Experience
* HND level qualification or equivalent in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
* Background in electronics testing within an advanced RF environment.
* Experience working with radio-based products and RF test equipment, including spectrum analysers and signal generators.
* Knowledge of product assembly, crimping, wiring and kitting would be beneficial.
* Strong attention to detail with good organisation and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a technical team.
* Suitable for UK MoD security clearance and able to meet relevant requirements.
