How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you a resilient and caring SEN Support Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity supporting young people? We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join a specialist educational setting in Greenwich. This role is ideal for a passionate SEN Support Assistant who wants to make a positive impact while working with secondary aged children who have SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs). As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will provide guidance, encouragement, and support to help students overcome barriers to learning. This Behaviour Support Assistant role offers the chance to develop valuable experience within a supportive environment.

This position involves working with secondary aged children who have SEMH, helping pupils manage emotions, develop positive behaviours, and engage successfully with their education. The ideal candidate will have a calm, patient, and consistent approach, with a genuine interest in supporting young people with SEMH needs. Previous experience in behaviour support, youth work, education, or care settings is beneficial, but a willingness to learn is essential. Full education and training opportunities are available to support your professional development.

Joining this team in Greenwich will provide you with the opportunity to gain meaningful experience, develop specialist skills, and work alongside professionals committed to improving outcomes for secondary aged children with SEMH. Ongoing education and training will ensure you continue to grow in your role and progress within the education sector
