Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience

Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a welcoming primary school in Ipswich that is looking to appoint a dedicated HLTA for a full-time position starting this September. About the Role

This is a diverse position combining whole-class teaching with targeted pupil support. Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS through to Year 6 to cover PPA time, staff training and teacher absence.

Maintaining an engaging and positive classroom environment that encourages pupils to achieve their best.

Leading small-group and one-to-one intervention sessions in English, maths and other curriculum areas when not providing class cover.

Supporting teachers to raise attainment and close learning gaps.

Promoting high expectations for behaviour, learning and pupil wellbeing throughout the school.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Holds HLTA status or has substantial experience leading lessons within a primary setting.

Is confident working with children across all primary year groups.

Has excellent communication and organisational skills.

Can build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.

Brings enthusiasm, flexibility and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning.
