You will be responsible for operating manual machinery and lathes, carrying out precision machining work to support the refurbishment and repair of industrial gearboxes. The role requires a good understanding of manual machining techniques and the ability to produce high-quality work.
Duties
* Operating manual machines and centre lathes.
* Machining components for gearbox refurbishment and repair.
* Working from engineering drawings where required.
* Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
* Previous experience operating manual machines and lathes is essential.
* Experience with gearbox refurbishment and repair is highly desirable.
* Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
* Reliable with a strong work ethic.
Hours
* Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
* Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
Please note: Standard hours are based on a full working week; however, these are not guaranteed. You will be paid only for the actual hours worked and confirmed on your weekly timesheet.
Assignment
* Temporary to Permanent opportunity.
* Weekly pay.

* Safety boots are required.
