TeacherActive is currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and adaptable Design Technology (Product Design) Teachers to join our busy supply team, working across a range of welcoming secondary schools throughout Bath & North East Somerset (BANES).
Whether you're looking for day-to-day supply, short-term cover or long-term placements, we have a variety of opportunities available to suit your availability. Supply teaching offers the chance to gain experience in different school settings, maintain a healthy work-life balance and build valuable relationships with local schools.
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Have experience teaching Design Technology with a focus on Product Design at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is desirable).
Be confident delivering engaging practical lessons and promoting safe workshop practices.
Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
Be flexible, reliable and able to adapt quickly to different school environments.
Be committed to inspiring students and helping them achieve their full potential.
