Recruitment Resourcer

Job description
Smile Education is looking for a confident, organised and people-focused Candidate Resourcer to join our Birmingham team and support one of our busiest education recruitment desks.

This is a key role where you will help us find, engage and support high-quality education staff for schools across the local area. You will be speaking to candidates every day, building relationships, booking registrations, supporting local candidate attraction events and working closely with one of our Directors to make sure schools have access to the right staff when they need them.
This role would suit someone who enjoys speaking to people, is confident on the phone and likes working in a busy, target-driven environment.

You may already have experience as a Recruitment Resourcer, Candidate Resourcer, Talent Resourcer, Recruitment Consultant or Candidate Consultant. We will also consider proactive people from a sales, customer service, hospitality, events, education, call centre or retail background who are looking to take their first step into recruitment.

What you’ll be doing
As a Candidate Resourcer, you will:

Source candidates for teaching, teaching assistant and school support roles
Call advert responses and new applicants quickly
Headhunt candidates through job boards, databases and social media
Create candidate sourcing campaigns
Reactivate candidates who have previously worked with or registered with Smile
Book candidates in for registrations, interviews and compliance appointments
Support local candidate attraction events, open days and community activity
Promote education opportunities to candidates and keep them engaged
Update our CRM accurately
Support consultants with availability calls, compliance chasing and candidate shortlists
Help build strong local candidate pools for one of our largest desks 
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who is:

Confident speaking to people on the phone and face to face
Organised, reliable and able to work at pace
Comfortable making outbound calls and handling rejection
Proactive, curious and willing to ask questions
Warm, professional and able to build trust quickly
Motivated by targets, results and doing a good job
Able to attend local events and work from the office with the team
Interested in education, schools and making a positive difference
Ideally a driver 
Recruitment experience is helpful, but not essential. The right attitude, work ethic and communication style are more important.

What you’ll get

£23,000 – £27,000 basic salary
Monthly commission, with realistic OTE of £30,000 – £35,000
Training and support from an experienced education recruitment team
