How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Gloucester Quality Team as a Quality Engineer - Production.

    As Quality Engineer, you will support the day to day running of the Quality Management System, ensuring that products are manufactured and assembled in line with specified requirements.
    In this role, you will be proactive and be involved with all departmental functions from Engineering through Operations and Customer Support. This role will primarily focus on assisting the quality manager with data analysis, providing quality data trend analysis to the wider business and creating reports for circulation to the key business stakeholders on quality metrics and KPI performance.

    What do you need to make the roles a success?

    * Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques (8D, Ishikawa, 5WHY)
    * Understanding of aerospace QMS and regulatory requirements
    * Qualification - apprenticeship/HNC/degree
    * Confidence to facilitate a multifunctional team across all levels of the business
    * Determination to lead change
    It would be advantageous if you also had:
    * Proficient in the use of data analysis tools such as power BI and Microsoft Software programs.
    * Awareness of DVI/FAIR process
    * Awareness of machining and special processes
    * Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
    * Experience of manufacturing principles, processes, standards and procedures
