Procurement Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Analyst to join a well-established commercial organisation on a 9-month interim contract. Based in Milton Keynes, this hybrid role offers the chance to work within a dynamic procurement function, delivering critical spend analysis, reporting, and insights that support strategic business decisions.This position is ideal for a data-driven procurement professional who enjoys turning complex information into actionable commercial recommendations.

Your new role

As Procurement Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting procurement and commercial teams through robust analysis, reporting, and supplier performance insights.Key responsibilities include:

Producing spend analysis, procurement dashboards, KPI reporting, and management information
Identifying cost-saving opportunities, supplier trends, and procurement risks through data analysis
Supporting sourcing and category management initiatives with market and spend insights
Maintaining procurement data, supplier records, and reporting accuracy
Developing reports and presentations for procurement and senior stakeholders
Monitoring supplier performance and contract compliance metrics
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes and systems
Collaborating with stakeholders across finance, procurement, and operational teamsWhat you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in a Procurement Analyst, Procurement Support, Spend Analyst, Commercial Analyst, or Purchasing Analyst role
Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, reporting, and data manipulation
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Experience working with procurement, finance, or ERP systems
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
CIPS qualification or progression towards CIPS would be advantageousWhat you'll get in return
