Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic FE Maths Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive Further Education setting in the Keighley area.
The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and is due to start in September 2026. This is an ongoing position with the potential for a long-term placement.

Daily Rate: £168.80 – £215.68 per day (dependant on experience)
About the Role:
* Teach Maths to Further Education students across a range of levels, including Functional Skills and GCSE resit classes.
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements and support learners to achieve their qualifications.
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students with varying abilities, backgrounds and learning styles.
* Assess, monitor and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence in Maths.
* Maintain high expectations for attendance, behaviour and academic progress.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.
* Follow all college policies and procedures, including those relating to safeguarding, attendance and learner welfare.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Have experience teaching Maths within a Further Education or Secondary setting.
* Be confident delivering GCSE Maths and/or Functional Skills Maths.
* Have excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Be able to motivate and inspire learners with a wide range of abilities and prior attainment.
* Be committed to raising achievement and helping students reach their full potential.
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* Provide details of the latest two references, covering the last five years' work history.
* Possess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration.
* Be willing to complete a face-to-face registration and satisfy several compliance checks.
