Senior Depot Manager

We are recruiting for a Senior Depot Manager role in the Portsmouth area.
Our client in the construction hire sector is seeking an experienced Depot Manager to take full responsibility for a fast paced depot.

Job Title: Senior Depot Manager
Location: Portsmouth area
Salary: £55-65K basic (OTE £70K) + car + excellent benefits
Main Duties:
* Managing the day-to-day operations of the depot
* Recruiting and mentoring staff
* Managing a customer base and developing plans to increase business
* Maximising growth and profitability
* Ensuring that high levels of service are maintained
* Holding team meetings
* Liaising with key customers to make sure they’re satisfied with the depot’s performance
* Managing stock levels
* Monitoring health and safety in the depot
* Full P&L responsibility
Requirements:
* Experience of managing a large team in a fast paced operational environment
* Experience of management in a busy sales led, growing company
* Able to recruit across multiple roles
* Exceptional people management skills - able to mentor, develop and train a team to a high level
* Ability to demonstrate business acumen
* Previous experience of a senior management role within the construction hire sector
