How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Maintenance Electrician

    Wolverhampton

    £33,000 + 40 Days Holiday + Generous Pension + 37 Hour Week + Monday to Friday + Minimal On Call (Paid at Time and a Half) + Sick Pay

    Are you a qualified Electrician with a Level 3 qualification and experience in electrical maintenance?

    Are you looking for a stable, site-based role where you can leave the constant travel, overtime and demanding call-out schedules behind while enjoying an outstanding benefits package?

    This well-established further education provider has an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality education and maintaining a modern, well-equipped campus. Due to continued investment, they are looking to strengthen their Estates team with a skilled Maintenance Electrician to help ensure the campus remains safe, compliant and fully operational.

    In this role, you'll carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the campus, working alongside a close-knit team of experienced professionals. This is a Monday to Friday position with no regular overtime, allowing for an excellent work-life balance. There is an on-call rota approximately once every six weeks, although call-outs are minimal and paid at time and a half.

    The ideal candidate will be a Level 3 qualified Electrician with experience in facilities, commercial or building maintenance. You'll also hold the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.

    The Role:
