We're recruiting for a Service Technician to join a well-established construction equipment business based in Maldon. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of construction machinery, carrying out servicing, diagnostics and repairs while supporting customers across the region. As a Service Technician in Maldon, you will:

Service, maintain and repair a range of construction and plant equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
Carry out planned maintenance, inspections and breakdown repairs.
Complete warranty, internal and customer repair work to a high standard.
Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and health & safety requirements.
Accurately complete service documentation and inspection reports.
Maintain company tools and workshop equipment.
Provide excellent customer service and technical support when required.What we're looking for

To be successful as a Service Technician in Maldon, you'll ideally have:

Experience servicing or repairing construction plant, heavy equipment, agricultural machinery, HGVs or similar mechanical equipment.
Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Basic hydraulic and electrical knowledge.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
Good communication and customer service skills.
