Vision for Education is seeking enthusiastic and confident Primary Cover Supervisors to work in welcoming and supportive primary schools across Southend-on-Sea.

The Role

As a Primary Cover Supervisor, you will:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in the absence of the class teacher.
Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
Ensure pupils remain engaged and complete the work set.
Adapt your approach to meet the varying needs of pupils within the classroom.
Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress, behaviour and lesson outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with primary-aged children in a school, childcare or youth setting.
Is confident leading a class and managing behaviour effectively.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Is flexible, organised and able to adapt to different schools and year groups.
Holds or is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
