How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and improve outcomes.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Support students with varying educational needs, including SEND requirements.
Help build students' confidence, independence, and resilience.
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement both in and out of the classroom.
Contribute to the wider life of the school through intervention programmes and enrichment activities.

    The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school setting.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting student success.
Have the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Demonstrate strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to supporting learning.
Hold GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
Have a genuine passion for education and helping young people achieve their potential.

    What the School Offers

A welcoming and inclusive school community.
A supportive leadership team and experienced staff network.
Excellent opportunities for professional development and further training.
    Modern facilities and well-resourced classrooms.
A strong focus on staff wellbeing and work-life balance.
Valuable experience for those considering a future career in teaching or education.
