How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Teacher of French - (Rugby Based)

    Job Title: Teacher of French
    Location: Rugby
    Salary: £175 - £255 per day (MPS/UPS, dependent on experience)

    The Role

    As a Teacher of French, you will:

    Deliver engaging and inspiring French lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
    Foster pupils' confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French.
    Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports progress for all learners.
    Plan and deliver lessons that challenge and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
    Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing effective feedback to support attainment.
    Contribute to the continued development of the French curriculum and departmental initiatives.
    Promote an appreciation of French language and culture through enrichment activities and wider learning opportunities.

    About You

    The successful candidate will:

    Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards achieving it.
    Have the ability to teach French across KS3 and KS4.
    Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for language learning.
    Have high expectations of student achievement, behaviour, and engagement.
    Be an effective classroom practitioner with excellent communication skills.
    Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a successful and supportive team.
    Be committed to delivering an inclusive and inspiring educational experience for all students.
