How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Do you enjoy developing international markets rather than simply selling into them?

Are you passionate about building long-term partnerships, launching innovative products and helping customers embrace new technologies?

We're supporting a market-leading technology business that's transforming the commercial safety industry through cutting-edge wireless solutions. As they continue their international expansion, they're looking for an ambitious International Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving growth across Europe and beyond.

This is far more than a traditional sales position. You'll work closely with international distributors, strategic partners and senior leadership to shape market strategy, launch new products and identify future growth opportunities.

    The Opportunity

This is a newly created position, offering the chance to join the business at an exciting stage of growth.

Initially, you'll focus on strengthening relationships with existing international distribution partners, helping them grow market share, improve performance and successfully introduce new products.

As you become established, you'll also play an important role in identifying new markets, developing route-to-market strategies, evaluating potential distribution partners and supporting wider international expansion.

It's an opportunity for someone who enjoys thinking strategically, influencing partners and helping shape the future direction of a growing international business.

    What You'll Be Doing

    *

Developing and growing relationships with international distributors and channel partners across EMEA.

    *

Supporting new product launches and go-to-market strategies within international markets.

    *

Working closely with partners to identify growth opportunities and increase market penetration.

    *

Building strategic account plans and driving sustainable revenue growth.

    *

Attending international trade shows, customer meetings and industry events.

    *

Providing market intelligence, competitor analysis and commercial insight to senior leadership.

    *

Identifying new territories, distribution partners and future market opportunities.

    *

Supporting forecasting, pipeline management and international business planning.

Experience within fire safety would be advantageous, but we're equally interested in candidates from sectors such as:

    *

    Electronic Security

    *

    Access Control

    *

    Wireless Technologies

    *

    Building Technologies

    *

    Critical Communications

    *

    Other technical B2B industries

More important than your industry background is your ability to build trusted relationships, think commercially and develop long-term international growth strategies.

    About You

    You'll likely have:

    *

Experience managing distributors, channel partners or international customers.

    *

A consultative and relationship-led sales approach.

    *

Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify strategic growth opportunities.

    *

Experience working across multiple international markets.

    *

The willingness to travel internationally for approximately 50% of your time.

    *

A proactive, ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset.

    What's On Offer

    *

    £60,000-£70,000 basic salary.

    *

    Bonus opportunity of approximately £25,000-£30,000.

    *

    Company car

    *

    Private healthcare.

    *

    Share incentive scheme.

    *

    Pension.

    *

25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

    *

The opportunity to join a growing international technology business with genuine long-term career progression.
