How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially driven Sales Executive to join a growing aerospace business specialising in the sourcing, manufacture and integration of aircraft components for civil and defence customers.

This is a varied role with a 70/30 split between Key Account Management and New Business Development, focused on building long-term customer relationships while identifying new opportunities across the aerospace sector. Working closely with engineering, procurement and manufacturing teams, you'll deliver tailored component solutions, manage complex customer requirements and support projects from initial enquiry through to delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop a portfolio of existing aerospace accounts, building trusted, long-term relationships.
Identify and win new business opportunities across civil and defence aerospace markets.
Generate quotations, negotiate commercial terms and convert enquiries into orders.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional service throughout the sales cycle.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver bespoke component sourcing, manufacturing and integrated solutions.
Develop account growth strategies, maximise customer spend and identify cross-selling opportunities.
Maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM, providing accurate forecasting and reporting.
Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events and trade exhibitions where required.
Monitor market activity, competitor trends and emerging opportunities within the aerospace sector.

    About You

Previous sales or account management experience within aerospace, aviation or a technical engineering environment.
Strong relationship-building and commercial negotiation skills.
Comfortable managing key accounts while proactively developing new business.
Ability to understand technical products and communicate effectively with both commercial and engineering stakeholders.
Organised, self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as required. This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced technical environment and wants to play a key role in supporting customers with specialist aerospace component solutions, from sourcing hard-to-find parts through to bespoke manufactured products and integrated supply solutions. The business is known for its customer-first approach, collaborative culture and commitment to quality, supporting clients across fixed wing, helicopter, civil and defence programmes
