HV Project Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a skilled HV Project Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working on high-voltage (HV) electrical projects, ensuring successful project delivery and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and overseeing HV electrical projects within the water sector
Ensuring all projects meet technical specifications and safety standards
Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
Conducting site inspections and assessments to monitor project progress
Providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
Preparing detailed project documentation, including reports and technical drawings
Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
Addressing any challenges or issues that arise during project execution

Job Requirements:

Experience in HV electrical engineering
Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols
Proficiency in project management within the water sector
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field

Qualifications:

UK HV qualification
HNC/HND/Bsc - Electrical Engineering or similar ideally
SMSTS
CSCS
