How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

    Our vibrant primary school in Streatham, Lambeth is proud to be opening a brand-new Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) this September and is seeking two experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team.
    This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape a specialist provision from the very beginning, working alongside experienced school leaders, teachers, and support staff who are committed to ensuring every child reaches their full potential.

    You will be joining a welcoming and collaborative team who are passionate about making a difference and who work together to provide the very best opportunities for every child.
    The Role As an Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

    Support pupils with Special Educational Needs within the Early Years setting and the new ARP.
    Deliver tailored interventions and learning activities to support individual EHCP targets.
    Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and external professionals.
    Promote children's communication, social interaction, independence, and emotional well-being.
    Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
    Support children with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs.What We're Looking For The successful candidates will have:

    Previous experience supporting children with SEN within a primary or Early Years setting.
    A strong understanding of Autism, communication needs, and inclusive practice.
    Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach.
    The ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst using their own initiative.
