How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Project Manager – Lifts & Escalators

    šŸ“ Bristol (Covering South Wales, Devon, Cornwall, the South West, Southampton & Bournemouth)

    šŸ•’ Full-Time | Permanent

    We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading lifts and escalators business, managing projects across the South West and South Wales region.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in the lift and escalator industry who can oversee multiple installation and modernisation projects from contract award through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

    The Role

    * Manage lift and escalator installation, refurbishment, and modernisation projects across the region.

    * Oversee multiple projects simultaneously from pre-start through to handover.

    * Plan project programmes, resources, and labour requirements.

    * Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.

    * Manage project budgets, costs, and financial reporting.

    * Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company procedures.

    * Attend site meetings and conduct regular project progress reviews.

    * Coordinate engineers and subcontractors to ensure works are completed efficiently.

    * Identify and resolve project risks and technical issues.

    * Maintain excellent client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.

    About You

    * Previous experience as a Project Manager within the lift and escalator industry.

    * Strong knowledge of lift installation, modernisation, or major repair projects.

    * Excellent organisational and project management skills.

    * Commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets.

    * Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

    * Full UK Driving Licence.

    * Relevant industry qualifications are advantageous.
