How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    An established financial services organisation is seeking a motivated and commercially focused Business Development Manager to drive growth through the development of strategic partnerships and new business opportunities. This role is responsible for supporting the design and implementation of business development strategies, building strong stakeholder relationships, and contributing to the achievement of ambitious growth objectives.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced business development professional looking to expand their network, influence business performance, and develop their career within a highly regulated environment.

    What you'll need to succeed
    Key Responsibilities

    Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities and partnerships to support organisational growth.
    Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
    Contribute to the development and execution of business development strategies and sales plans.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, business partners, and external organisations.
    Deliver presentations and proposals to prospective and existing customers and partners.
    Support the achievement of lending and commercial objectives while ensuring positive customer outcomes.
    Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints effectively at the first point of contact.
    Develop and implement business plans to achieve agreed performance targets and KPIs.
    Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering regulations and conflict of interest policies.
    Complete required control and compliance activities accurately and within agreed timescales.
    Provide customers with accurate, relevant, and compliant information at all times.
    Adapt effectively to changing priorities and operate successfully within challenging deadlines.
    Share best practice with colleagues and support collaboration across teams.
    Promote a strong risk management culture and maintain effective stakeholder engagement both internally and externally.
    You will have:
    Proven experience in business development, relationship management, or a similar commercial role.
    Strong track record of meeting and exceeding customer and business objectives.
    Experience delivering professional presentations to customers and stakeholders.
    Excellent relationship-building and networking skills.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Effective time management, diary management, and organisational abilities.
    Familiarity with relevant technology platforms and CRM systems.
    Understanding of risk, audit, and compliance requirements within a regulated environment.What you'll get in return
    Salary is up to £75,000 + Bonus dependent on experience.
